Knowledge Base Module Settings

The settings panel (/kb) allows you to manage knowledge bases and their configuration.

What Can Be Configured

Knowledge Bases

The main configuration is done at the level of individual knowledge bases. Each knowledge base has its own settings:

  • Template — appearance of the public view
  • Language — article language
  • Prefix — URL path
  • Domain — custom domain or subdomain
  • Privacy — public or private
  • Category in URL — whether the entry URL contains the category prefix
  • Comment Moderation — comment approval mode

Changelog

The knowledge base supports a changelog — a list of recent changes and new articles. You can configure which entries appear in the changelog and how they look.

From the knowledge base settings, you can browse and test helplinks — contextual hints in the application.

Views

  • Dashboard (/kb) — list of all knowledge bases with entry counts
  • Table View — tabular overview of knowledge bases
  • Changelog — changelog configuration and preview
