Domains

Domains allow you to use your own web addresses instead of the default system subdomain.

Adding a Domain

To connect your own domain, add it in the account settings and configure DNS records:

  • A Record — points the domain to the application server. Required to make the account accessible at your own URL
  • MX Record — points mail to the mail server. Required to receive emails on your own domain

Validation

After adding a domain, the system checks the DNS configuration:

  • A Validation — confirms that the domain points to the correct server
  • MX Validation — confirms that mail is correctly routed

The domain becomes active only after successful validation. System domains (e.g., intum.pl) are protected and cannot be validated.

Primary Domain

One of the domains can be set as primary — used for building account URLs (e.g., links in emails, redirects).

Assigning to Resources

A domain can be associated with:

  • CMS Website — the domain leads to a specific website
  • Knowledge Base — the domain displays a knowledge base

A single account can have multiple domains, and each domain can serve a different resource.
