> **How to enable the Helpdesk module?**
>
> The Helpdesk module is not active by default. To enable it:
>
> 1. Go to **Settings** → **Modules**
> 2. Find the **Helpdesk** module on the list
> 3. Click the **(+)** button next to the module name
>
> After activation, the module will appear in the main menu and will be ready for configuration.

## Helpdesk Module Settings

In the Helpdesk module settings (`/helpdesk/settings`), you can manage the general configuration of the ticket handling system.

## Available Options

### Default Desk

You can select the desk that will be used as default — e.g., when creating a new ticket from the panel.

### Notes

A text field for internal notes about helpdesk configuration — e.g., handling procedures, team instructions.

### Counter Repair

An administrator can recalculate [desk](desk) counters — the number of open, unassigned, and pending tickets. Useful when counters display incorrect values.

## Important Information

- Helpdesk settings are **one record** per account (created automatically)
- Changes take effect immediately
- Access requires Helpdesk module administrator permissions
