## CRM Contacts

A contact is a person associated with a [client](klienci) - e.g., a company employee, project manager, or contact person. A single client can have multiple contacts.

## Contact Data

- First and last name
- Position
- Email, phone, mobile phone
- Address (street, postal code, city, country)
- Website
- Description and notes

## Link to Client

A contact is assigned to a client. One of the contacts can be marked as the **primary contact** of the client - they are then displayed on the client card.

If a contact doesn't have an address filled in, the system uses the client's address.

## Contact Types

- **Buyer** - a contact on the buyer's side
- **Supplier** - a contact on the supplier's side

## Associations

From the contact view you can see:

- Emails sent/received to the contact's address
- VoIP calls
- [Deals](interesy) linked to the contact
- [Notes](notatki)
- Chat conversations
- Documents

## Merging Contacts

When duplicate contacts exist within a client, they can be merged. The system detects duplicates by email and phone number.

## External ID

A contact can have an `external_id` for synchronization with external systems.

## Search

Contacts can be searched by first name, last name, email, company, and description. The search engine supports beginning-of-word matching.
